Hello and welcome to our box
Chirag Kochar (CK) has been a prolific athlete since his childhood. Having represented his school at regional and national levels in sporting activities which include football, hockey, cricket, chess and athletics. Conferred with the prestigious "Best Junior Athlete" in school, the road leading to the present-day was already laid down.
CK was exposed to CrossFit in 2014 when he was pursuing his higher education (B. Comm.) in Mumbai. After curiosity had gotten the better of him, he set out to gain experience under the best coaches in the cities of Mumbai & Gurgaon, and finally completed his Level 1 Instructors Certification in January 2018. As an exceptional teacher and a passionate human being, he is dedicated to delivering a high level of fitness by introducing Jaipur to the beautiful world of functional fitness through CrossFit with the aid of his brainchild - CrossFit StrongSoul.
Pavneet Chhabra started his functional fitness journey weighing at just about 102kgs. Although basketball got the ball rolling, he realised that he'd have to put in some extra effort to get the desired results. By including CrossFit into his regimen he began his metamorphosis into the beast that he is now.
Presently, he stands at about 78 kilos, and is definitely one of the strongest athletes that we have seen. All of this can be rightly attributed to his positive state of mind and sheer hardwork. As a young instructor, he is passionate to share his breadth of knowledge that he has garnered over the years practicing CrossFit, by helping his fellow athletes achieve their fitness goals. Truly a prized asset for the box family!
Different every session. We train for the unknown and the unknowable. One of the main characteristics of constant variation is the use of very different loads, time domains and movements.
Cardiovascular exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense exercise with less intense recovery periods. Simply, doing more work in less time. Benefits include improved athletic capacity and conditioning as well as improved glucose metabolism.
Functional movements are movements based on real-world situational biomechanics. They usually involve multi-planar, multi-joint movements which place demand on the body's core musculature and innervation.
All CrossFit workouts are based on compound movements which reflect the
best aspects of gymnastics, weightlifting, running, rowing, high-intensity interval training, Olympic Weightlifting,
plyometrics, powerlifting, gymnastics, Kettlebells, calisthenics, strongman, and other exercises.
CrossFit is not a specialized fitness program, but a deliberate attempt to optimize physical competence in each of 10 recognized fitness domains. Those domains are: cardiovascular and respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility, power, speed, coordination, agility, balance, and accuracy
Let's start with the basics. WOD means "Workout of the day." This is the workout you'll get when you attend a CrossFit session. Every day is different and will have strength days, metabolic conditioning, range of motion workouts, etc. Be prepared to do workouts for time, as many rounds as possible or increasing reps every minute over minute. Each session consists of warm-up, WOD and stretching. Choose a batch that suits you and get fit!
